We're Rwanda Eco-Tours, a tours and safari company run by native Rwandans who are passionate about our country and its people, history, and natural resources. With 20 years of experience, we offer high-quality and educational tourism experiences that contribute to the conservation of Rwanda's beautiful natural resources, including its parks, lands, and endangered mountain gorillas, as well as the socio-economic well-being of local people.

When we talk impact - we mean it. Through the years Rwanda Eco-Tours has given birth to a number of projects and these include:
GOATS FOR GORRILAS
Program that aims are celebrating local communities around national parks especially the Volcanoes park Rwanda for playing a huge roll in safe guarding and protecting the mountain Gorillas and other wildlife. With this program guests that travel with the company contribute a small fee of 50US$ (Not compulsory) on top of their trip cost and this is used to buy a goat that they donate to a local family leaving around the national park as a token of appreciation for protecting the Gorillas a gesture that has been well received by the community.
AWARD WINING GORILLA GUARDINANS VILLAGE
Formally known as Iby'iwacu cultural village is a cultural site that has brought together great numbers of former poachers that have been transformed into protectors of nature and wildlife. At Gorilla guardians village you will get to experience first hand the ways of life of Rwandans with a mixture of culture and history. The former poachers who used to hunt, kill and many times sell baby Gorillas were turned in conservationists that believe in a tourism for today and tomorrow. Check it out!
